Terms and Conditions Field

The Terms and Conditions Field is used to capture user agreement or acknowledgment before submitting a form.

It typically appears as a checkbox paired with descriptive text or a linked document.

Form creators can configure it to display a message, attach a document in a popup, or require users to scroll through the terms before agreeing.

This field is commonly used in official applications, registrations, and consent forms to ensure compliance and accountability.

How to Create a Basic Terms and Conditions Field

  1. Right-click on Form Content.
  2. Select Create.
  3. Choose Terms and Conditions Field.
  4. Enter a field name (e.g. I agree to the Terms and Conditions).
  5. Under Description, provide supporting guidance text (e.g. Please check this to proceed).
  6. Click Save and Publish.

As a result:

A terms and conditions checkbox will appear on the form, displayed together with the descriptive guidance text.

How to Create a Terms and Conditions Field with Document Popup

  1. Right-click on Form Content.
  2. Select Create.
  3. Choose Terms and Conditions Field.
  4. Upload the relevant document under the Document setting.
  5. Click Save and Publish.

As a result:

A terms and conditions checkbox with a linked document will appear on the form. The document will open in a popup when selected, and the “I Agree” button will only become active once the user has scrolled to the bottom of the document.
