Single Selection Dropdown Field
The Single Selection Dropdown Field enables users to select one option from a list of predefined choices displayed in a dropdown menu.
This field is particularly useful when space needs to be conserved on the form or when there are many options to choose from.
Form creators can configure the list using selectable values or predefined global values, ensuring consistency and accuracy in the options provided.
How to Create a Single Selection Dropdown Field
- Right-click on Form Content.
- Select Create.
- Choose Single Selection Dropdown Field.
- Enter a field name (e.g. Select your district).
- Under Field Settings, configure the dropdown options by choosing one of the following:
- Add options under Selectable Values (either all at once or individually). For detailed guidance, see the Adding Selectable Values guide.
- Use Global Selectable Values to select from predefined EGNC items.
- Click Save and Publish.
As a result:
A dropdown field will appear on the form, allowing users to select one option from the configured list of choices.
