Date Range

The Date Range field allows users to select a start date and an end date within a single input.

This is useful for capturing periods such as travel durations, project timelines, booking windows, or other events that span across multiple days.

By using this field, form creators can ensure users provide both the beginning and end of a timeframe in a clear and structured way.

How to Create a Date Range Field

  1. Right-click on Form Content.
  2. Select Create.
  3. Choose Date Range.
  4. Enter a field name (e.g. Duration of stay).
  5. Click Save and Publish.

As a result:

A date range field will appear on the form, allowing users to select both a start date and an end date.

How to Allow Current Date in a Date Range

  1. Follow the steps in How to Create a Date Range Field to create a date range field.
  2. Under Validations, toggle on Allow Today.
  3. Click Save and Publish.

As a result:

Users will be able to include the current date as part of the selected date range.

How to Allow Past Dates in a Date Range

  1. Follow the steps in How to Create a Date Range Field to create a date range field.
  2. Under Validations, toggle on Allow Before Today.
  3. Click Save and Publish.

Users will be able to include past dates as part of the selected date range.

How to Allow Future Dates in a Date Range

  1. Follow the steps in How to Create a Date Range Field to create a date range field.
  2. Under Validations, toggle on Allow After Today.
  3. Click Save and Publish
