Date

The Date field allows users to select a single date using a calendar-style date picker.

It is commonly used for collecting information such as birth dates, appointment dates, submission deadlines, or event schedules.

Form creators can also configure rules to restrict selections, such as allowing only today’s date, past dates, future dates, or dates matching specific patterns (e.g. every Wednesday).

How to Create a Single Date Field

  1. Right-click on Form Content.
  2. Select Create.
  3. Choose Date.
  4. Enter a field name (e.g. Date of Birth).
  5. Click Save and Publish.

As a result, a single date picker field will appear on the form with the specified label, allowing users to select a specific date.

How to Allow Current Date for Selection

  1. Follow the steps in How to Create a Date Field to create a date field.
  2. Under Validations, toggle on Allow Today.
  3. Click Save and Publish.

Users will be able to select the current date directly from the date picker.

How to Allow Past Dates for Selection

  1. Follow the steps in How to Create a Date Field to create a date field.
  2. Under Validations, toggle on Allow Before Today.
  3. Click Save and Publish.

How to Allow Future Dates for Selection

  1. Follow the steps in How to Create a Date Field to create a date field.
  2. Under Validations, toggle on Allow After Today.
  3. Click Save and Publish.

How to Set a Cron Expression for Specific Date Rules

  1. Follow the steps in How to Create a Date Field to create a date field.
  2. Use crontab.guru to generate a cron expression (e.g., 0 0 * * 3 for every Wednesday).
  3. Enter the generated expression under Validations > Cron Expression.
  4. Click Save and Publish.

Only dates that match the defined cron expression will be available for selection in the date picker.
